About Multicultural Portraits
Daniela’s background in fashion becomes evident in her choice of subject matter. She is particularly interested in the art and culture of the traditional dress still worn by women in Austria, called Dirndl. Inspired by the book Memoirs of a Geisha by Arthur Golden, Daniela produced the Uchikake Series in 2003.
